Do you need some entertainment this holiday season?? The Kingsburg High School Dickens Carolers are prepared to bring the “Merry” to your Christmas party. For a small donation of $150 – $200 in Kingsburg, and $250 out of town 12 singers dressed in period costume will entertain your party guests for 25-30 minutes singing traditional carols and well known Christmas songs but with a bit of jazzy sound. For more information and to book this group please call the KHS Choir office at 559-419-6390 or email Richard Mynderup – Director at firstname.lastname@example.org

The New York Wind Band Festival has chosen the Kingsburg High School Wind Ensemble to be one of six performing groups featured at it’s 2018 festival! This is indeed a prestigious and well-earned honor for our group of young musicians.
The exact dates of the trip to the festival are March 3 – 7, 2018 and we will perform in Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, March 6. More details of our itinerary will become available soon.
This invitation comes in no small part to the work done by the past seven years of students who have passed through our program. This year’s class of 2017 Seniors deserve a huge thank you. Because of their leadership and musicianship these past four years, along with that of our younger members, we are able to offer this amazing opportunity to our students.
Three Kingsburg High School students were recently accepted into the California All-State Honor Band and Honor Choir. From left to right Ben Nicholas (choir), Kimberly Klausen (band), and Brianna Linder (band)
The students will be attending the CASMEC (California All-State Music Conference) that will take place February 16-19, 2017 in San Jose at the Convention Center and they will be performing at the Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose on February 19th.
Congratulations to all of the students for making it into these prestigious groups!
